Veterinary and veterinary technologist students working in BC food animal practices (VVTS)
The BC Ministry of Agriculture and Food Program accepts applications for 2025, with funding allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications close on January 31, 2025.
The program offers up to $6,000 per placement to BC food animal veterinary practices to help with veterinary students and veterinary technology students wages and travel for work placements.
Eligible veterinary practices must be accredited by the College of Veterinarians of BC and offer services for livestock and farm animals that may include cattle, swine, sheep, goats, poultry, bison, and fish. Practices that provide services to clients at any production scale (including large-scale and small lot) are eligible to apply.
