Beginning a career is an exciting but sometimes challenging time in one’s professional and personal life. Here at the CVMA, we understand these challenges and have created this dedicated space offering a variety of programs and resources to help support early career DVMs in achieving a successful career and a work/life balance. 

This space provides sections focusing on financial planning and budgeting, communication, and career development. Within each section you’ll have access to modules, video lectures, personalized self-help programs, guides, tips, calculators, and more. 

Did You Know the CVMA Offers a Tiered Membership Fee for Graduates?

Students who graduate will receive FREE CVMA membership granting access to all of the benefits (only until December 31 of the year the student graduated in).  Once this offer expires, and if the student maintains uninterrupted membership after graduation for a consecutive 3-year period, they are eligible for the 75%-50%-25% tiered fee reduction.  

And...

Recent graduates who become members of the Association the year following graduation and who maintain their active CVMA membership for three consecutive years after graduation will receive a Continuing Education voucher.  This can be used for a complimentary general registration for one future CVMA convention.
