The CVMA supports the promotion of increased awareness around mental health, and decreasing the stigma and barriers that surround mental illness and injury in the veterinary profession. When discussing mental health and well-being it is expected that a high level of sensitivity, care, and trauma-informed practices be utilized.

The CVMA Communications team is happy to help with inquiries, including booking veterinarian interviews, searching for statistics, or looking for animal health information.
