Opening Doors to Diversity in Veterinary Medicine

The CVMA is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible veterinary profession. In honour of Black History Month, the CVMA is proud to sponsor the Black Veterinary Association of Canada’s (BVAC) blendVET Pathways to Veterinary Medicine event alongside the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) and blendVET. In collaboration with the Toronto District School Board, this hands-on educational event takes place on April 2, 2025, and offers Black-identifying students from Toronto the opportunity to explore veterinary medicine through mentorship, interactive activities, and learning experiences.
