Cyberbullying and Crisis Comms Support is Coming to You!

December 9, 2024

The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) is proud to share that we will launch a Cyberbullying and Crisis Communication Management Hotline for the veterinary community in 2025.

The hotline will provide both general best practices and specific advice for veterinarians and team members experiencing cyberbullying. The hotline will be administered by crisis management experts who have significant experience managing the well-established American Veterinary Medical Association hotline and hands-on knowledge of the stressors unique to veterinary medicine.

The hotline development demonstrates the CVMA’s deep commitment to the well-being of its members and veterinary team members in several meaningful ways by proactively addressing member concerns, creating a safe space to access guidance, and supporting both professional and emotional well-being while ensuring members maintain a positive and accurate online presence.

Stay tuned for more information about this important resource which will launch in 2025.
