CVMA Sponsors Youth Science Canada Award

The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) is pleased to announce our sponsorship of an annual Youth Science Canada award.
The Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Award will be presented to a senior student who has been deemed to have created an outstanding project related to animal health, animal welfare, or veterinary public health. The recipient will receive a certificate and $1,000 cash prize.
Established in 1966, Youth Science Canada (YSC) fuels the curiosity of Canadian youth through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) projects. YSC works to ensure Canadian youth have the capacity and skills to generate and answer questions and identify and solve problems.
YSC is the leading youth STEM project organization in the country and its Canada-Wide Science Fair is the foremost annual youth STEM event in Canada.
The inaugural CVMA Award will be presented at the 2025 Canada-Wide Science Fair which will be held from May 31 – June 6 at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, N.B.
