The CVMA is governed by a Council mandated to establish the general policies and overall priorities of the association. The responsibility to oversee the management of the CVMA is delegated to the Executive Committee.
To help fulfill its mission, the CVMA relies on several committees, boards, task forces, advisory groups, and other volunteers, each functioning within defined mandates. Learn more about these below.
How to Get Involved
The CVMA depends on its many volunteers to assist in achieving its goals and objectives. If you want to get involved as a volunteer or are interested in serving on a particular committees and wish to find out more, please communicate with the CVMA office or contact your provincial representative on CVMA Council. CVMA committees, boards, task forces, etc. are established by Council to address specific issues, recommend action to Council and provide annual reports. Members interested in volunteering can learn more about how to get involved here.
