62nd CVMA Convention
Plan and gear up to attend CVMA’s 2010 Convention in Calgary, Alberta! The CVMA has partnered with the Alberta Association of Animal Health Technologists (AAAHT) and the Canadian Association of Animal Health Technologists and Technicians (CAAHTT) and the whole veterinary team is invited to join the CVMA Convention to attend all scientific sessions and some wet labs that will be open to veterinarians as well as technicians.
NEW For 2010!
• The Business Management Program, which focuses on the CVMA priority “A Successful Career, A Balanced Life”, consists of a full day of sessions on Wednesday, July 7. Dr. Karen Felsted will address such topics as Lessons from the Recession; Using Financial Metrics Wisely, Calculating Your Practice Profitability and more.
• Also on Wednesday, July 7, a variety of outstanding wet labs will be held at the new cutting-edge facilities at the University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM).
• A Future Leaders Program is being initiated and will be implemented for the 2010 Convention.
• All Alumni Receptions will take place on Thursday, July 8 at the Hyatt Regency Calgary.
• Friday, July 9 will be themed as a CE “Western Day”. Also on Friday there will be a Family Social Day and Evening event at the Calgary Zoo!
