Mandate of the National Examining Board

The National Examining Board (NEB) is a duly constituted board of the CVMA.  The NEB operates in all matters pertaining to the administration of the National Examining Board Examination. The NEB makes recommendations to CVMA Council on all other matters involving the assessment and enhancement of veterinarians in Canada and undertakes any other duties assigned by Council from time to time.

A Registrar of the NEB is appointed by the Council and serves as the CVMA staff officer charged with the responsibility of co-ordinating and facilitating the duties and functions of the NEB.

Attention: Candidates Registered for the NAVLE®
Toward the end of September 2012 candidates registered to appear for the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE®) during the November-December 2012 testing window will receive an e-mail from the NBVME with instructions to download and print their electronic Scheduling and Admission Permit (SP) from a web site. The SP will allow you to contact Prometric Inc. to book an appointment to take the NAVLE®.
