Mandate of the CVMA Communications Advisory Group: Provide advice and guidance to the CVMA, as required, on the Association’s internal and external communications in order to advance the mission of the CVMA and, particularly its membership and communications goals and objectives.
The responsibilities of the Advisory Group are as follows:
Act as a sounding board and provide input and feedback to the CVMA on communications disseminated to the profession, veterinary students, stakeholders and the general public, including electronic, print, Web and any other forms of communications;
Provide veterinary expertise to the CVMA for the formulation and review of communications-related content and messaging;
Provide a forum for the initial review of partnership proposals being brought forward to the CVMA for consideration and the review of partnership materials, where needed or required by policy;
Liaise with the delegated CVMA staff mainly through email communications, and occasionally through telephone or teleconference, as required.
