In 2005, the CVMA and Hill’s Pet Nutrition embarked on a partnership aimed at improving the quality of pets’ lives through promoting the importance of veterinary care, building awareness of health issues and helping veterinarians enhance patient wellness.

This ongoing partnership has been successful in building consumer awareness on specific pet health and preventative topics, while informing them of the health benefits of regular veterinary visits and feeding superior, science-based pet foods. The campaigns represent the partnership’s three core initiatives – pet dental health; pet obesity and fitness; and mature adult/senior health.
